Blue Jays’ Anthony Bass appears to troll detractors after popcorn incident sparks intense debate

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass appeared to troll the detractors on social media Monday over a popcorn downside on a United flight over the weekend.

Bass said his pregnant wife, Sydney Rae Bass, who’s the sister of Jessie James Decker, was pressured to choose up popcorn their 2-year-old daughter spilled on the bottom. The grievance from the pitcher prompted a ton of responses on social media – the whole lot from help for counterarguments.

Bass appeared to get the final giggle on Monday evening when he posted a photograph on his social media accounts of his daughter holding a bag of popcorn and smiling. The pitcher additionally added that the difficulty was being dealt with internally.

The firestorm began Sunday when the veteran main leaguer complained a few flight attendant.

“The flight attendant @united simply made my 22 week pregnant spouse touring with a 5 12 months outdated and a couple of 12 months outdated get on her palms and knees to choose up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter. Are you kidding me?!?!” he wrote.

Decker acquired concerned on her Instagram Story as her sister advised the digicam that United gave her daughter’s popcorn.

Bass has struggled to begin his 2023 marketing campaign with the Blue Jays, proudly owning a 7.11 ERA after permitting 5 earned runs over 6.1 innings in seven appearances.

Bass is coming off a strong 12 months in MLB with the Miami Marlins and Blue Jays in 2022, proudly owning a 1.54 ERA in 73 appearances (70.1 innings) with them mixed. 

He has bounced round since getting into the league in 2011, enjoying for the San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros to associate with the Marlins and Blue Jays.
