Sudan conflict: US conducts ‘prudent planning’ as violence escalates

A Department of Defense spokesperson informed Fox Information the U.S. is monitoring the current Sudanese clashes and “conducting prudent planning” as violence within the North African nation escalates.

The battle between the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces and Sudan’s armed forces started on April 15. At the least 270 individuals have died, whereas damage estimates are as excessive as 2,600.

“The hospitals are utterly collapsed, devoid of all requirements. It is previous catastrophic,” Sudan’s Crimson Crescent spokesperson Osama Othman stated.
