Scottish climber, 80-year-old, dies after falling from 3,000ft mountain

An 80-year-old Scottish man fell over 3,000 ft to his loss of life on a distant island within the Scottish highlands 

Rescue Groups from the Coastguard alongside Skye Mountain Rescue rushed to Coire a’ Bhasteir within the Cuillin vary on the Isle of Skye, an island in Scotland, at round 3.05pm Wednesday, July 26, following experiences of a fallen climber.

Police haven’t launched the title of the 80-year-old man who died nor how he fell from the mountain.

In a press release, Skye Mountain Rescue stated that 20 rescue personnel and passing climbers assisted authorities in evacuating the physique with the assistance of a rescue helicopter R948 from the mountain.

Police Scotland stated in a press release that there have been no suspicious circumstances of his death

“There will not be believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will probably be despatched to the Procurator Fiscal,” the company stated in a press release.

His mom wrote in a GoFundMe, that Macdonald was an avid hiker who was doing what he beloved finest.

“He was doing what he beloved best-climbing the mountains,” Margaret Macdonald wrote. “We simply cannot imagine what has occurred to our beautiful boy.”
