China is reportedly planning to conduct a “main army exercise” within the Yellow Sea this week amid heightened tensions within the area.
China’s Maritime Safety Administration stated Monday that army operations will happen within the Yellow Sea on Monday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. native time, with out disclosing additional info.

The company warned mariners to not enter the waters off the coast of Shandong province, which is usually used for army drills and much sufficient away from the U.S. regional allies.
The deliberate army exercise comes after China held army drills round Taiwan in what Beijing asserted was a warning to the self-governing island nation.
The Chinese language army held three days of large-scale air and sea workouts it dubbed “Joint Sword” that ended final Monday, which adopted U.S. Home Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s assembly with Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen.
China had warned of serious consequences if the assembly happened.
In the meantime, the U.S. Navy sailed a warship by the Taiwan Strait on Sunday, drawing protests from Beijing, which denounced the transit as “public hype.”
A spokesperson for the Jap Theater Command stated it was prepared at any time to “resolutely safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, security, and regional peace and stability.”

China has stepped up its army stress over Taiwan in recent times, sending fighter jets and navy vessels towards the island on a near-daily foundation.
After former Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan final August, China despatched increasingly more army vessels over the midline of the Taiwan Strait, an unofficial boundary that had been accepted for many years. That growing stress from China has given larger consideration to Taiwan globally.
