China says it ‘hopes and believes’ Germany will support its ‘peaceful reunification’ with Taiwan

A Chinese government diplomat expressed hope that Germany will help its takeover of Taiwan.

Wang Yi, China’s prime diplomat, made the feedback in an announcement shared by the Chinese language overseas ministry on Saturday, stating that he “hopes and believes” the European nation will help its “peaceable reunification” with Taiwan.

Throughout a gathering with German Overseas Minister Annalena Baerbock in China, Wang stated that China as soon as supported the reunification of Germany.

Her feedback are seemingly at odds with what President Emmanuel Macron stated following a visit to China on Sunday, urging Europe to keep away from following the “American rhythm” on Taiwan.

In an announcement, Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry stated that it strongly authorised of the German overseas minister’s assertion.
