Canadian anti-capitalist cafe with ‘pay what you can’ model shutting down after one year

An anti-capitalist espresso store in Canada is closing after a 12 months in enterprise, its proprietor introduced, citing “the dearth of generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources” as the explanation for being unable to proceed to function the enterprise.

“Sadly, the dearth of generational wealth/seed capital from ethically bankrupt sources left me unable to climate the quiet winter season, or to develop within the methods wanted to be sustainable longer-term,” he added.
