NFL star Joe Mixon’s salary reduced in restructured Bengals contract amid aggravated menacing charge: report

Star operating again Joe Mixon seems to be poised to play in Cincinnati for a seventh season.

On Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Professional Bowl ball service agreed to the phrases of a restructured contract, Mixon’s agent, Peter Schaeffer, advised ESPN. Mixon was reportedly due round $9.4 million in wage for the upcoming season, in response to Over The Cap.

Mixon is going through a misdemeanor aggravated menacing cost. His trial is scheduled to begin subsequent month. The Cincinnati Police Division introduced the refiling of an aggravated menacing charge towards Mixon in early April. The preliminary cost towards Mixon was dismissed on Feb. 3.

The refiled cost stemmed from allegations that he pointed a gun at a girl in January in a street rage incident. “CPD is dedicated to a radical, evidence-driven investigation of all reported offenses,” police stated in a press release in April.

Mixon has spent his total NFL career with the Bengals.
