Michael Geller, a champion waterskier who competed for Crew Canada and helped the University of Louisiana-Lafayette to a nationwide championship, died on Might 6, Water Ski Canada and the college introduced final week. He was 18.

“As skiers and all of the members of our neighborhood start to mourn this nice loss, many will acknowledge his wonderful work ethic, never-ending ardour, humor, athleticism, and charisma. Throughout this troublesome time, allow us to come collectively as a neighborhood to help each other and cherish the recollections we now have of Micky.”

Geller’s obituary stated he took a “full throttle lifestyle.”
