A tough week for Lucas Giolito acquired even worse on Tuesday evening after a putrid begin at Citi Area.
The Chicago White Sox right-hander introduced on social media final week that he and his spouse, Ariana Dubelko, have mutually agreed to finish their marriage after greater than 4 years collectively.

He walked Brandon Nimmo to start the inning, and he scored on a Tommy Pham double. Two batters later, Pete Alonso hit a sacrifice fly to make it a 2-0 sport. After hanging out Jeff McNeil, he then allowed back-to-back house runs to rookies Francisco Alvarez and Brett Baty that made it a five-run body for New York.
Francisco Lindor added an RBI double within the second inning, and nine-hitter DJ Stewart clubbed a solo homer within the fourth. Giolito was taken out after permitting two extra males on base, one among which scored. In all, he threw 100 pitches in simply 3.2 innings, racking up eight earned on six hits and 5 walks.
Giolito, 28, made the announcement in a prolonged Instagram put up throughout Monday’s Home Run Derby.

Giolito and Dubelko had been first married in 2018. They celebrated their four-year marriage ceremony anniversary this previous December.
In line with TMZ Sports activities, Dubelko filed for divorce in a California court, citing “irreconcilable variations.” A consultant for Giolito instructed the outlet that the choice to separate was mutual, noting that the state doesn’t permit for a “joint submitting.”
“We emphasize our shared values of respect, understanding, and kindness, which have guided our decision-making course of. We maintain one another in excessive regard and intend to strategy our separation with the utmost dignity and care,” Giolito stated.
