Drexel University basketball participant Terrence Butler died in an on-campus condominium Wednesday morning, the college introduced.
Butler was recognized by the college after his passing on faculty grounds. The reason for his dying has not been disclosed.

An undergraduate finding out in Drexel’s School of Engineering, Butler was a standout within the classroom in addition to on the court docket. Butler, a 6-foot-7, 235-pound ahead, was set to enter his junior season for the Dragons after enjoying in a reserve function since he acquired on campus for his freshman yr in 2021-22.

Accidents in his first two seasons have saved him from enjoying a much bigger function with Drexel’s squad.
Final season, Butler made appearances in seven of the Dragons’ video games, averaging 4.4 minutes per sport with 9 complete rebounds, two assists and two steals.
He was named to the Commissioner’s Tutorial Honor Roll in Drexel’s Colonial Athletic Affiliation convention final season as properly.

Butler was from the DMV space, initially from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He was a standout participant at Bishop McNamara, which has a highly-respected basketball program at the highschool.
