“Walks these days are like hits. It was big,” Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor mentioned. “We handed the baton. Nobody was attempting to be the hero. We actually centered on attempting to get a great pitch, and if it wasn’t there, we’ll take it.”

Lindor matched a career-high Friday night time, driving in seven runs with a grand slam and a three-run double as New York improved to 8-6 on the season.
