Veteran actor Khalid Said Butt passes away

Dr Khalid Stated Butt, veteran actor, director and screenwriter, handed away peacefully on Thursday evening. His son, actor Osman Khalid Butt took to Twitter to verify the information and announce particulars about his funeral whereas asking followers and household to hope for the departed soul.

Early Friday morning, Osman took shared an image of his late father on the micro-blogging website. “Our beloved father, Dr Khalid Stated Butt, handed away peacefully on the evening of the 13^th,” he wrote, “As per his needs, his Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayers) might be held at 2:30 pm on Friday at Khalid Masjid, Cavalry Floor Extension, Lahore,” added Butt.

The Ehd-e-Wafa star went on to listing down the quite a few achievements of his father and promised followers that he would ultimately elaborate on them. “His accomplishments within the area of arts are manifold and his contribution to Pakistan’s arts and tradition is immeasurable. In time, we’ll talk about these intimately,” he tweeted.
