LONDON: Vodafone Group on Thursday stated the chief govt of its largest shareholder, Emirates telecoms group Etisalat, also called e&, would be part of its board as the 2 firms agreed to deepen their strategic relationship.
The British firm stated e& CEO Hatem Dowidar would keep on its board for so long as e& maintained its present 14.6 % stake and it might have the ability to nominate a second non-executive director if its shareholding exceeded 20 %.
The group has stated it’s open to rising its stake in Vodafone.
