Jordan, World Bank sign $650m loan agreements

AMMAN: Jordan has signed two mortgage agreements price $650 million with the World Financial institution to assist the nation’s climate-responsive investments, electrical energy sector and job creation, Jordan Information Company reported on Tuesday

The agreements had been signed on Monday in the course of the World Financial institution spring conferences in Washington by Jordanian Minister of Planning and Worldwide Cooperation Zeina Toukan, and World Financial institution Nation Director for the Center East Division, Jean-Christophe Carret.
