Police in Mexico mentioned Monday they’ve arrested a prime lieutenant of the violent Metros faction of the Gulf drug cartel implicated in 23 assaults on police and 9 in opposition to navy personnel.
The suspect was recognized as Hugo Salinas Cortinas, whose nickname “La Cabra” means The Goat. Police and the Mexican Military mentioned he was arrested Friday, however offered no clarification for the delay in making the announcement.
