Kanye West’s Twitter account has been reinstated after an virtually eight-month ban over offensive tweets.

Musk had beforehand reinstated former US President Donald Trump’s account after conducting a ballot through which some 14.8 million Twitter customers had voted with 51.8% voting in favour of the reinstatement.

However Mr Trump had mentioned that he had no real interest in returning to Twitter and would stick along with his new platform Fact Social.
