Colombian soccer player, 18, clutches chest, drops to field during World Cup practice

An 18-year-old on the Colombian ladies’s soccer group had a well being scare throughout World Cup practice Thursday.

The group was jogging across the area when Linda Caicedo clutched her chest and fell to the sphere.

She turned onto her again as members of the group and medical employees tended to her.

Caicedo was evaluated, and the group’s coach, Andrés Gómez, stated the “report was constructive.”

“Linda could be very drained,” a medical spokesperson for the group stated. “What occurred was only a symptom of all of the stress and bodily calls for. She is properly and all is again to regular.”

The striker was later noticed coaching along with her teammates.

Caicedo scored in Colombia’s 2-0 win over South Korea.

She was identified with ovarian cancer at age 15, already having debuted for the Colombian senior nationwide group. 

She underwent surgical procedure and 6 months of chemotherapy, based on CBS Sports activities.
