Leaked Pentagon document says Russia almost took down British spy plane near Ukraine

A British spy aircraft flying over Ukraine was almost shot down by a Russian fighter jet, in response to a leaked Pentagon document circulating on social media.

UK Protection Minister Ben Wallace knowledgeable the British Parliament in regards to the confrontation in October, saying that two Russian fighter jets intercepted the RC-135 and flew “recklessly.”

“The Division of Protection is actively reviewing the matter, and has made a proper referral to the Division of Justice for investigation,” Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh stated on Friday.

The reason for the leak, which incorporates troves of paperwork, is unknown.
